Job summary

AtlantiCare is seeking a Client Services Representative to provide front desk support at the hospital or ambulatory setting. You will schedule patient appointments, collect insurance information, enter data into the system, and relay accurate financial information to patients and clients.

This role emphasizes quality customer service, teamwork, and participation in improvement efforts, with occasional travel to other department locations and reporting to leadership within the organization.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience: 1-3 years office experience required, preferably in a medical setting.
• Minimum 1 year insurance, CPT4 and ICD-10 coding experience preferred.
• Knowledge of medical terminology preferred.
• Proficiency in Clinical Applications: incumbents will be trained and then use systems within 30–60 days.

ATLANTICARE _____________________________________________ROLE DESCRIPTION POSITION SUMMARY The Client Services Representative provides office support at the front desk within the Hospital, Ambulatory or setting. The Representative also ensures the timely and organized scheduling of patient appointments, patient insurance information, enters client information into the computer, and provides accurate financial information to clients. This position supports organizational goals by providing quality customer service, participating in performance improvement efforts and demonstrating a commitment to team work and cooperation.

Demonstrates the competencies as established on the Assessment and Evaluation Tool for this position.

Potential for exposure to the hazards and risk of the hospital environment, including exposure to infectious disease, hazardous substances, and potential injury. Periodic traveling to other department locations is expected.

This position reports to the Department Director, Manager or Nursing Leadership in other departments within the organization.
