Job summary

Qualifications

• Six months of customer service related Teller experience.
• Knowledge of basic accounting.
• Knowledge of and training on federal and state consumer compliance laws.
• Ability to analyze and interpret various financial data.
• Good organizational skills.
• Good written and verbal communication.
• Experience using Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel.
• Good data entry/keyboarding and math skills.

Responsibilities

• Interview clients to obtain information and establish proper identification of new clients while determining needs.
• Assist clients in their selection of accounts, products and financial services available from the Bank.
• Ensure cross‑selling opportunities are presented by applying professional sales techniques.
• Make decisions in regard to opening of new accounts; assign account numbers; complete forms; check credit history; accept initial deposits; prepare documents for processing.
• Print temporary checks and ensure client information is correct.
• Represent the Bank in community functions to enhance image and develop business.
• Provide exceptional customer service by answering questions and resolving problems.
