Job summary

Plante Moran in the United States is seeking a detail-oriented account management professional focusing on group benefit plans. You will manage sponsor relationships, facilitate enrollment communications, and support data reporting and analytics.

You will collaborate with underwriting staff, handle carrier inquiries, and maintain CRM records while contributing to client satisfaction and practice growth. This role may require travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• Interest or experience in benefits administration or client services.
• Strong written and verbal communication with clients and internal teams.
• Ability to navigate complex situations with attention to detail.
• Capable of managing multiple priorities and meeting deadlines.
• Comfort in ambiguous situations with evolving requirements.
• Customer service orientation and relationship-building focus.

Responsibilities

• Account management for all group benefit plan sponsors including implementation.
• Employee open enrollment and communications.
• Assist internal staff with report production and delivery.
• Support underwriting and analytics with data for employer plan analytics.
• Assist clients with carrier billings, premiums, enrollment, eligibility, and claims.
• Maintain client CRM records and relationships.
• Distribute bulletins, alerts, and plan materials to clients.
• Assist with carrier reporting and Schedule A 5500 reporting.
• Support practice development and improvement efforts.
