Marsh McLennan Agency seeks a Client Service Specialist to support Producers and Marketing Account Executives on large and complex accounts. You will deliver exceptional client service, build durable carrier relationships, and mentor colleagues while staying current on coverages, guidelines, and legislative changes.

Strong communication, five years in insurance, and a licensed background are required. Occasional travel may be needed, with a focus on client satisfaction and accurate coverage

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent education required.
• Five years of relevant insurance industry experience.
• Appropriate insurance license(s) required.
• Strong client relations and communication skills; service orientation and tactfulness.
• Leadership skills with ability to mentor others.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Willingness to travel occasionally overnight.

A day in the life.

As our Client Service Specialist on the Service Center team, you'll Support Producer and Marketing Account Executive, if applicable, by serving the larger and/or more complex clients and/or be viewed as a leader and resource by colleagues and peers who provides exceptional client service and serves as a mentor to others. Be knowledgeable of coverages, carrier guidelines, underwriting, legislative changes, and maintain relationships with clients and carrier representatives. Exercise independent decisions relating to client analysis of coverage, recommending coverage needs, and suggesting new lines of coverage for existing clients, as appropriate. Develop strong relationships with carriers and market accounts as requested by Producer and/or Marketing Account Executive.

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent education and related training
• Five years of relevant insurance industry experience
• Appropriate insurance license(s)
• Strong client relations skills; including excellent communication skills and service orientation, cooperative nature, and tactfulness to resolve client and company problems
• Ability to utilize leadership skills by providing direction, constructive feedback, development and training while additionally being able to motivate others to maximize productivity and team morale
• Demonstrated proficiency in basic computer applications such as Microsoft Office Suite
• Ability to travel, occasionally overnight
