Client Service Representative
Compensation: $21–$27 per hour, based on experience and qualifications
VERG Brooklyn is looking for a compassionate and dependable Client Service Representative (CSR) to join our Brooklyn team. As one of the first people our clients meet, you'll help pet owners feel welcomed, informed, and cared for while their pets receive emergency or specialty treatment.
If you're someone who can make people feel supported during stressful moments, your work can make a real difference at VERG Brooklyn.
This is more than a front desk position. You'll be an important connection between our clients and medical teams, helping each hospital visit run as smoothly as possible.
Work that matters: Sometimes a calm voice, a kind welcome, or a clear explanation is exactly what a worried pet owner needs. The support you provide can make a difficult day feel a little easier.
A team you can count on: Veterinary medicine can be busy and emotional, but you won't be doing it alone. Our team works together, helps one another, and makes room for both the challenging moments and the good ones.
Room to grow: We'll give you the training and support you need to succeed. You'll also have opportunities to learn more about veterinary medicine and continue building your career.
VERG Brooklyn is a leading 24/7 emergency and specialty veterinary hospital serving pets and their families throughout the tri-state area. Our client service team works alongside emergency clinicians, board‑certified specialists, licensed veterinary technicians, and other experienced professionals to provide advanced care in a collaborative environment.
Our clients come to us because their pets are family, and we treat them that way.
You have a high school diploma or equivalent, strong communication and customer service skills, and confidence handling challenging situations with empathy and professionalism. Basic computer skills are required, including experience with Word, Outlook, and office management software. Veterinary experience and familiarity with Instinct are a plus but not required, we're happy to train the right person. Most importantly, we're looking for someone with a positive attitude who is eager to learn, grow, and contribute to our team.
Due to the nature of supporting a hospital that is open to care for pets 24/7, working with us often requires the schedule flexibility for all shifts, including overnights, evening hours, weekends and holidays. If selected for an interview, the scheduling options and process will be discussed with you at that time.
VERG is an equal opportunity employer. We celebrate diversity and are committed to creating an inclusive environment for all employees.
