About The Role

Revvity seeks a remote Client Service Representative to provide Level 1 telephone support for external clients regarding Revvity Genetics products. Responsibilities include supporting newborn screening, genomics services, managing inquiries about specimen requirements, report confirmations, sample receipt, demographic data updates, and maintaining databases and spreadsheets. Collaboration with team members and effective communication are essential.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Provide Level 1 telephone support to external clients for Revvity Genetics products.
  2. Understand newborn screening and genomics services to resolve client issues.
  3. Maintain high customer satisfaction by addressing concerns and escalating issues as needed.
  4. Respond to inquiries about specimen collection, reports, and sample verification.
  5. Manage data or demographic change requests.
  6. Update and operate computer databases and spreadsheets.
  7. Collaborate effectively with team members and communicate with clients and stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree with 0-2 years of customer support experience; or
  • Associate degree with 2-4 years of experience; or
  • High School Diploma or GED with 4+ years of experience.
  • Preferred: Bachelor’s in physical sciences such as chemistry, biology, biochemistry, or medical technology.
  • 5+ years in customer support, especially in clinical laboratory testing, newborn screening, or genomics.
  • Knowledge of genetic concepts and terminology.
  • Skills in prioritization, multitasking, problem-solving, and critical thinking.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills, customer-focused.

Working Conditions

  • Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:30am - 6:00pm ET.
  • Weekend rotation may be required.
  • No travel required.
