Job summary

VCA Animal Hospitals, Inc. seeks an experienced Veterinary Client Service Representative to welcome clients, schedule visits, and guide pet owners through our services. You will be the friendly first contact, handling payments and answering questions to ensure a smooth visit.

This role emphasizes exceptional customer service, product recommendations, medical record management, and maintaining a clean, organized clinic environment; training provided, competitive benefits and pet discounts.

Qualifications

• Greeting visitors, answering telephones, guiding clients and their pets.
• Scheduling and confirming appointments.
• Outbound follow-ups and outreach to prospective clients.
• Presenting fees and processing payments.
• Recommending products and services, including prescriptions.
• Educating clients on general pet care and husbandry.
• Managing medical records and clinic communications.
• Maintaining a neat, clean facility.

We are seeking an experienced Veterinary Client Service Representative to join our team.

Why We Need You

• Customer service functions, including: greeting visitors, answering telephones, and guiding clients and their pets to exam rooms.
• Scheduling and confirming appointments.
• Placing outbound calls for follow-ups and reaching out to prospective clients.
• Presenting and explaining fees, including processing payments.
• Recommending, selecting, and obtaining products and services, including prescriptions.
• Answering questions regarding products and services, including educating clients on general animal husbandry and non-medical pet care (i.e., heartworm prevention, housebreaking, and flea & tick control).
• Managing medical records, charts, reports and correspondence.
• Hospital maintenance (including removal of animal waste) and ensuring that facility is neat and clean at all times - both inside and outside.
