Job summary

VCA Animal Hospitals is seeking a customer service-oriented team member in Chico, CA. Primary duties include greeting visitors and their pets, guiding them to exam rooms, scheduling and confirming appointments, and handling follow-up calls.

You will present fees, process payments, and advise on products and services including prescriptions. Required are at least one year of customer service experience, a high school diploma, excellent listening and communication skills, and willingness to work

• Answering questions regarding products and services, including educating clients on general animal husbandry and non-medical pet care (i.e., heartworm prevention, housebreaking, and flea & tick control)
• Managing medical records, charts, reports and correspondence
