Job summary

Merrimac Valley Animal Hospital in Amesbury, MA is seeking a Client Service Representative to be the friendly first hello and last goodbye for pets and their people. You’ll manage phones, emails, and scheduling with a smile, helping to make every visit a positive experience.

Pay is up to $22/hr DOE and training is provided for the right fit. We value teamwork, compassion, and a calm presence during busy days.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years in a veterinary or medical setting preferred (but we’ll happily train the right fit)
• A natural communicator who thrives on connecting with people and pets alike
• Organized, adaptable, and steady under pressure (bonus points if you can do all that while offering belly rubs)
• A team player who brings positivity, patience, and professionalism to every shift

Responsibilities

• Handle phones, emails, and scheduling with a friendly demeanor to ensure a smooth front desk operation.
• Be the calm in busy days and the problem solver when issues arise, ensuring pet and client satisfaction.

The Role

Our Client Service Representatives are the first hello and the last goodbye - aka the heart of the front desk. As a CSR, you’ll juggle phones, emails, and scheduling with a smile, making sure every client (and their furry sidekick) feels welcomed and cared for. You’ll be the calm in a busy day, the problem solver when things get tricky, and the warm connection that turns a vet visit into a positive experience.
