Job summary

Toppan Merrill, a global leader in regulatory disclosure and secure communications, seeks a Client Service Project Manager to guide Financial Reporting, Proxy, ESG, and related services from pre-sales through delivery. You will coordinate cross-functional teams, build timelines, and ensure a seamless client experience.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years in client service or project management, with strong Microsoft 365 proficiency and executive-level communication.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary contact and trusted advisor for clients across Proxy, Financial Reporting, ESG/Sustainability, Design, and Advisory Services.
• Manage multiple client projects by developing plans, timelines, deliverables, and executing from kickoff to delivery.
• Partner with Sales during pre-sales engagements, discovery sessions, and solution discussions.
• Coordinate activities across Design, Consulting, Product, Operations, Typesetting, and Digital Delivery teams.
• Lead onboarding, kickoff meetings, status discussions, and ongoing communications on scope and timelines.
• Monitor milestones, identify risks, and communicate changes to help clients adapt to evolving requirements.

Toppan Merrill has an exciting opportunity for a Client Service Project Manager - Financial Reporting & Proxy Services to join our #hybrid team. In this role, you will serve as a trusted advisor to clients and internal partners, managing complex proxy statement, financial reporting, and ESG/sustainability reporting projects from pre-sales consultation through initial delivery. You will coordinate cross-functional teams, build project timelines, guide clients through our solutions and services, and ensure a seamless client experience throughout the engagement lifecycle.

Job Responsibilities

Serve as the primary point of contact and trusted advisor for clients engaging Toppan Merrill's Proxy, Financial Reporting, ESG/Sustainability, Design, and Advisory Services offerings. Manage multiple client projects simultaneously by developing project plans, building timelines, coordinating deliverables, and ensuring successful execution from project kickoff through initial delivery. Partner closely with Sales during pre-sales engagements, client discovery sessions, presentations, and solution discussions to support business development efforts. Coordinate activities across internal teams including Design, Consulting, Product, Operations, Typesetting, Digital Delivery, and other service groups to ensure project success and exceptional client outcomes. Lead client onboarding activities, kickoff meetings, project status discussions, and ongoing communications regarding scope, timelines, and deliverables. Monitor project milestones, identify risks, proactively communicate changes, and help clients navigate evolving requirements and customized solutions. Develop and maintain accurate project documentation, client communications, workflow records, and billing-related information to support operational excellence. Build long-term client relationships by delivering responsive service, effective communication, and strategic guidance that enhances client satisfaction and retention.

About You

Bachelor's degree in Business or a related field preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience. 5+ years of experience in client service, project management, account management, consulting, financial services, business operations, or a related customer-facing environment. Demonstrated success managing multiple client-facing projects, priorities, and deadlines in a dynamic business environment. Strong verbal, written, presentation, and relationship-building skills with the ability to communicate effectively with executive-level clients and internal stakeholders. Advanced proficiency with Microsoft 365 applications including Outlook, Teams, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and related collaboration tools. Experience creating timelines, coordinating resources, tracking deliverables, and managing projects through completion. Ability to work effectively in ambiguous situations, adapt to changing client requirements, and deliver customized solutions. Preferred qualifications include experience with proxy statements, SEC reporting, financial services, disclosure management, design/print production, Adobe Acrobat Pro, ESG/sustainability reporting, or related regulatory communications. Knowledge of color management, print production concepts, or financial disclosure processes is a plus.

Compensation

We understand that your skills deserve recognition. That's why we offer a competitive pay scale ranging from $30.00 - $40.00 per hour, based on experience and expertise. We believe in compensating our dedicated team members fairly for their hard work and commitment.
