Client Service, Investment & Operations Associate
A well-established boutique financial services firm in Rye, NY is seeking a Client Service, Investment & Operations Associate to play a critical role in supporting daily operations and client interactions. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated professional who is energized by client service, highly organized, and eager to grow within a boutique firm environment.
Responsibilities
- Manage daily client service requests and ensure timely follow-up
- Prepare materials for client meetings; attend Zoom and in-person meetings as needed
- Monitor treasury maturities; support distributions, money movement requests, and application processing
- Support onboarding of new clients, including paperwork completion and custodial coordination (ACATS)
- Maintain and update client records and systems in a fully paperless environment
- Assist with eMoney input and ongoing maintenance (financial planning software)
- Coordinate with third-party money managers (note: no internal trading responsibilities)
- Contribute to client growth and business development initiatives
- Ensure a seamless client experience and proactively communicate client needs or issues to leadership
- Occasional travel
Qualifications
- 2–3 years of client service (CSA) or operations experience in Wealth Management (RIA, family office, etc.)
- Series 7 or Series 6 FINRA license
- Experience with numerous investment products and asset classes (equities, fixed income, alternatives, SMAs, 401(k) plans, etc.)
- Familiarity with permanent insurance (preferred)
- Familiarity with holistic financial planning (preferred)
- Tech-savvy and comfortable with paperless systems
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Prior experience with eMoney, Redtail CRM, or third-party asset management platforms (preferred)
- Strong verbal communication skills, professionalism, and client-first focus
- Energetic, proactive, highly organized, and able to work independently
- Initial in-person training required during the first month
- Primarily remote role with occasional in-office days thereafter
