Job summary

LPL Financial is seeking an in-office support role in Bridgewater, NJ to assist Financial Advisors and clients with account activity, documents, and tax forms. You will educate clients on services and technology, and coordinate across internal teams to resolve issues.

The ideal candidate has 1+ years in financial services or client service, strong communication, and detail orientation. This entry-level role offers exposure to wealth management and opportunities to advance within the firm.

Qualifications

  • 1+ years of financial industry experience, preferably in wealth management.
  • 1+ years of experience in client service industry.
  • Desire to obtain industry licenses (e.g. SIE, Series 7 and 66) is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive client support through daily communication with advisors and clients.
  • Address inquiries on account activity, policies, and documentation; manage time-sensitive tasks such as tax forms.
  • Submit account instructions, research complex issues, and collaborate with internal teams to resolve.
  • Educate clients and advisors on services and technology, including eSignature and paperless options.
  • Manage operational reports for cash management and distributions; complete special projects.
  • Schedule meetings, prepare materials, update CRM, and process expense reports.

This is an in-office Bridgewater, NJ employment opportunity that would allow you to support Financial Advisors with LPL Financial under our Employee Advisor Model. This role may provide support to multiple advisors operating within the credit union space. This opportunity is an excellent steppingstone to continue to build on your wealth management experience and opportunities to work with multiple internal departments at a growing company.

Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive client support through daily communication with advisors and clients, addressing inquiries on account activity, policies, and documentation while managing time-sensitive tasks such as RMDs, distributions, and tax forms. Submit account instructions, research complex issues, and collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely resolution. Educate clients and advisors on services and technology, including eSignature and paperless options, while contributing to peer development and project work. Manage operational reports for cash management and distributions, complete special projects, and promote cost-saving initiatives through digital adoption. Perform administrative duties such as scheduling, preparing meeting materials, updating CRM systems, and processing expense reports. Requirements
  • 1+ years of financial industry experience, preferably in wealth management
  • 1+ years of experience in client service industry
Preferences
  • Desire to obtain industry licenses (i.e. SIE, Series 7 and 66)
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Effective oral and written communication; able to explain complex information clearly and simply
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills with the ability to build and foster relationships with clients, coworkers, and internal/external partners
  • Time management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines
  • Possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Self-motivated, driven and takes initiative
  • Experience with the Microsoft program suite (Outlook, Word, Excel)
Pay Range

$25.85-$43.08/hour Actual base salary varies based on factors, including but not limited to, relevant skill, prior experience, education, base salary of internal peers, demonstrated performance, and geographic location.
