Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or HR related field.
  • 3–5 years’ experience in benefits administration or insurance.
  • 2–3 years’ direct client relationship experience.
  • Current Life and Accident/Health license or relevant certs.
  • Ability to work independently within a cohesive team.

Career Opportunity with FCE Benefits Administrators

Due to continuous growth, FCE Benefit Administrators, Inc is seeking a Client Relationship Manager to join our dedicated Client Services Team. In the role, you will act as the primary point of contact and strategic partner for some of FCE’s largest and most complex corporate clients. You will protect sensitive data, monitor complex claims, and develop deeply collaborative relationships with internal departments, carriers, and client decision-makers.

Job Functions, Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Data Security: Protect, secure, and ensure proper handling of all confidential data against unauthorized access, improper transmission, or unapproved disclosure.
  • Client Advocacy: Consistently demonstrate a superior level of proactive client focus, team collaboration, and retention strategies to ensure total client satisfaction.
  • Relationship Management: Develop strong working relationships with daily client contacts, vendors, and carriers.
  • Escalation Ownership: Take primary ownership for resolving issues escalated by clients or internal operational departments.
  • Strategic Communication: Partner with corporate decision-makers to design, optimize, and present open enrollment employee education strategies.
  • Data Analysis: Compile plan data, track account history, and offer administration solutions to enhance the overall client experience.
  • Annual Renewals: Strategize and collaborate with Account Management, Sales, and Marketing departments to execute seamless annual benefit renewals.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Attend to strict administrative details to remain fully compliant with local, state, and government regulations.
  • Claims Monitoring: Monitor client claims actively to assure consistency with organizational goals and deliver full-service administration.
Experience, Skills, Knowledge Requirements:
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Business Administration, Human Resources, or an equivalent combination of education and professional experience.
  • Industry Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in benefits administration, insurance consulting, or on the insurance carrier side.
  • Client Management: Minimum of 2-3 years’ prior experience handling direct client relationships.
  • Licensing: A current Life and Accident/Health License or relevant industry certifications (e.g., CEBS® is preferred but not required.
  • Autonomy & Teamwork: Ability to function as an enthusiastic self-starter who works independently while contributing to a highly cohesive team environment.
  • Technical Skills: Strong analytical capabilities and proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Excel® Word® PowerPoint®)
  • Execution: High level of organization, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to produce quality work under tight time constraints.
  • Communication: Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills, including experience presenting to group audiences.
  • Travel Flexibility: Ability to travel 40-50% to facilitate open enrollment employee meetings and conduct on-site client visits.
