Job summary

Huntington National Bank in Franklin, IN is seeking a Financial Relationship Banker to help customers achieve their financial goals by tailoring deposit, loan and other banking products to their needs. You will build trusted relationships in our branch while delivering outstanding service.

You will proactively outreach to customers, set appointments, and refer to other bank areas to deepen relationships. Strong communication and tech skills are essential, with adherence to bank policies.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED with 1 year of customer service and sales in banking or related fields.
• Background check including fingerprints per NMLS regulations.
• Preferred: Bachelor's degree with 1+ year in sales or customer service in financial services.

Responsibilities

• Providing excellent customer service and effectively resolving customer issues.
• Proactively identifies opportunities to grow customer relationships through pre-set appointments, Centers of Influence, a disciplined sales process, new customer follow-up program, and sourcing referrals from customers, bank colleagues and partners.
• Educating and referring customers to other areas of the bank to deepen relationships and build strong internal partnerships.
• Educating customers on how to optimize their use of bank technology (online, mobile, and ATM banking).
• Maintaining your knowledge of all products, services, technology and policies.
• Adhering to all operational, security, risk and regulatory policies and procedures.
• Other duties as assigned.
