Job summary

U.S. Bank is seeking a Relationship Banker to build trusted relationships with customers by engaging them in person and guiding them through banking solutions. You will assess needs, open accounts, and assist with loans, while promoting digital tools and ensuring a smooth client experience at the branch.

The role requires NMLS registration and adherence to regulatory guidelines, with a focus on delivering exceptional service and cross-collaboration with branch teams.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Typically has less than four years of job-related, retail banking experience.
• Ability to open accounts and originate loans.
• Familiar with digital products and self-service banking.

Responsibilities

• Builds and fosters relationships with clients through proactive outreach and follow up.
• Identifies solutions for new and existing clients based on their needs.
• Maintains knowledge of consumer and business banking products including digital services.
• Provides a consistent, optimal client experience including greeting clients and processing basic transactions.
• Opens new consumer and business accounts and submits credit applications.
• Educates clients on digital products and self-service options.
• Leverages resources to optimize client experience with operational excellence.
