U.S. Bank in Astoria, OR, is seeking a Client Relationship Consultant to engage customers across in-person, by appointment, and virtual channels. You will assess banking needs, educate clients on deposit and loan products, and recommend solutions using a digital-first approach.

The role emphasizes building trust, maintaining knowledge of retail products, and partnering with the branch team to deliver an excellent client experience. Bilingual English/Spanish encouraged.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Typically has a minimum three to four years of job-related, retail banking experience or a combination of experience and commensurate training.
• Proven ability to build and foster relationships with clients through proactive outreach and follow up.
• Ability to effectively engage and communicate with clients.
• Thorough knowledge of applicable bank and branch policies, procedures and support systems.
• Thorough knowledge of all retail products and services.
• Proven customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Experience in participating in sales campaigns/promotions.
• Experience with using and demonstrating digital products and self-service technologies.
• Ability to explore and identify a customer’s true needs while leveraging a digital first mindset.
• Demonstrated advanced level of proficiency in making appropriate recommendations that meet customer’s needs both reactively and proactively.
• Experience in the financial services industry preferred.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities
