Job summary

Option Care Health, the nation's largest home infusion provider, seeks a Specialist, Patient Registration to ensure a smooth onboarding experience for new patients and referral partners.

You will coordinate with sales, pharmacy, and nursing to secure nursing and delivery, prepare all required documentation, assist with upfront payments, and support ongoing claims and paperwork follow-up in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of two years of related experience.
• Ability to multi-task and support numerous referrals/priorities.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be detail-oriented with a high degree of quality focus.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Preferred healthcare/medical billing experience.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate discharge with patient, referral source, sales, pharmacy and nursing to secure nursing and delivery.
• Create, communicate and obtain all required documentation for new referrals.
• Assist patients with upfront payments and direct to financial assistance when needed.
• Support clean claims on hold and denial management with follow-up on missing paperwork.
• Assist Patient Registration Supervisor and Manager with special assignments.
