Job summary

Highmark Health in the United States seeks a Senior Delivery Manager to supervise a group of project managers within a value stream. You will ensure delivery processes are followed, provide coaching to develop PMs, and step in to remove obstacles to keep projects progressing on schedule and within budget.

You will manage resources across a matrixed organization, review budgets and risks, coordinate stakeholder communications, and drive change controls.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in healthcare, business, information technology or relevant experience.
• 7 years of project delivery experience.
• 7 years of client relationship management.
• 3 years of team leadership and management (preferred).
• PMI - Project Management Professional certification (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee a group of project managers within a value stream.
• Support project managers in delivery of projects within their domains.
• Provide training and mentoring to develop PM skills.
• Manage staffing, budgets, and performance of the department.
• Coordinate resource allocation across the matrixed organization.
• Review budgets, risks, and change controls with stakeholders.
• Escalate issues to senior leadership and drive go-to-green plans.
• Ensure artifacts are documented and archived after project closure.
