Job summary

Global Banking and Markets at Scotiabank is seeking a Transaction Banking Operations professional to support US cash management activities in Dallas. You will process client requests related to deposits, payments, liquidity management, and related products, while ensuring accuracy and regulatory compliance.

The role emphasizes client service, issue resolution, and collaboration with teams to uphold controls and risk management. A strong knowledge of banking systems and MS Office is a plus.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of practical experience supporting Transaction Banking business, including Payments/Deposits, FX Settlement and Liquidity Management.
• Foundational knowledge of Transaction Banking products such as deposits and payment services; strong risk management awareness.
• Excellent verbal and written communication with external clients and internal partners.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational, planning, time-management, problem solving & critical thinking skills.
• Self-starter and team player with proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Processes and supports client requests relating to deposits, payments, liquidity management, commercial cards, and related products.
• Responds to client inquiries, operational investigations, and service requests in a timely and professional manner.
• Supports payment processing, investigations, exception management, and transaction monitoring activities.
• Identifies and escalates operational issues, service concerns, exceptions, and emerging risks to the Assistant Manager in a timely manner.
• Maintains documentation, records and audit trails for all activities and controls performed.
• Participates in testing activities and process improvement initiatives.
