Job summary

Scotiabank’s Global Banking and Markets division seeks an experienced professional to support Transaction Banking activities in the US. The role emphasizes Payments/Deposits, FX settlement and liquidity management, with strong client and cross‑functional collaboration.

Candidates should bring 3–5 years’ practical Transaction Banking experience, solid product knowledge, risk awareness and a collaborative mindset. Proficiency in Finacle and Power BI is advantageous.

Qualifications

• 3 - 5 years of practical experience supporting Transaction Banking business, including Payments/Deposits, FX Settlement and Liquidity Management.
• Strong knowledge of Transaction Banking products with advanced technical acumen and risk management techniques.
• Prior supervisory or team lead experience preferred
• Excellent verbal and written skills with the ability to effectively communicate with external clients and internal partners.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational, planning, time-management, problem solving & critical thinking skills.
• Self-starter and team player.
