Job summary

BNY is seeking a detail-oriented Client Operations Analyst to support account lifecycle activities within custody and accounting platforms. Based in Pittsburgh with a hybrid schedule (4 days onsite, 1 day remote), you will help open, maintain, and close accounts while validating data and updating procedures.

Qualifications

• Associate degree required; bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or related field preferred.
• 1–3 years of experience in an analyst, banking, financial services, trade operations, accounting, or related analytical role preferred.
• Strong time management, organization, and multitasking skills.

Responsibilities

• Account Lifecycle Support: Assist with account opening, maintenance, and closing activities across custody and accounting platforms
• Data Management: Retrieve, collect, validate, and maintain account and operational data with a high degree of accuracy
• Procedure Review: Review existing procedures and assist with updates to improve accuracy, consistency, and operational efficiency
• Departmental Projects: Participate in special projects and cross-functional initiatives as assigned
• Operational Support: Assist with analytical and administrative tasks that support day-to-day client operations
• Communication & Follow-Up: Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders regarding account-related information and follow up on outstanding items as needed
• Team Collaboration: Work independently and as part of a team while managing multiple priorities and meeting deadlines
