Job summary

Standish Management, LLC is seeking a Fund Controller to lead client onboarding and support fund accounting operations. You’ll collaborate with the Manager to prepare deliverables and communications for new clients, ensuring smooth onboarding and accurate reporting.

Ideal candidates have 3–4 years of public accounting experience, PE/VC familiarity, and strong Excel/Allvue/eFront skills. A detail-oriented communicator who can work independently or in a team will thrive.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Finance/Accounting/Economics required.
• Private Equity/VC experience and knowledge of Partnership Accounting preferred.
• Minimum 3-4 years of public accounting experience or equivalent.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel, Word & Outlook.
• Familiarity with accounting reporting systems (Allvue, eFront, etc.).
• Attention to detail and strong written/verbal communication.
• Able to multi-task and work both in a team and independently.
• Adept at using web-based data entry databases.

Responsibilities

• Develop a thorough understanding of the client’s Fund structure and reporting (blockers, splitters, AIVs).
• Supervise gathering and organizing client onboarding.
• Prepare and/or review capital calls, LP communications, and other client deliverables.
• Assist with onboarding client investor information in software systems.
• Assist with historical data implementation and review.
• Maintain status of projects in Standish’s project management system.
• Collaborate with the Manager to develop and implement best practices.
• Manage ongoing systems support for the firm.

Exciting opportunity for a client services professional to join a rapidly growing fund administration firm! The Fund Controller role plays a key role in helping to onboard new clients to Standish’s fund accounting group. In conjunction with the Manager, the Fund Controller is responsible for managing the day to day operations of the client onboarding process, which includes preparation of client deliverables and communications.

Minimum Requirements

Compensation Annually (varies by location):

• Chicago: $85,000+
• Boston: $90,000+
• Actual compensation within that range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience and qualifications.
