Job summary

Evergreen Treatment Services seeks a Milieu Coordinator for its REACH program. This full-time, onsite role focuses on creating a welcoming milieu, coordinating activities, and engaging clients through trauma-informed and harm-reduction practices.

You will collaborate with care managers, support group activities, and help ensure safety and smooth client flow in the REACH space. Prior experience in behavioral health and strong interpersonal skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in social/behavioral health outreach or similar settings.
• Ability to establish trust and engage clients in a harm-reduction framework.
• Strong written and verbal communication, with trauma-informed approach.

Responsibilities

• Create a welcoming milieu and set hospitality tone for clients.
• Build rapport and supportive relationships with clients.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of community resources and referrals.
• Orient new clients to rights and responsibilities of the milieu.
• Support REACH staff with trauma-informed care approaches.
• Coordinate logistics for group activities and outings when needed.
• Document client interactions accurately in agency systems.
• Participate in supervision and team meetings to improve services.
