Highstreet Insurance and Financial Services in Raleigh/Chapel Hill is seeking a Client Manager to provide high-level service and long-term support for personal lines clients. The role focuses 90% on retention with opportunities for strategic cross-selling and upselling when appropriate.

You will manage an assigned book, recommend coverage improvements, and ensure a professional client experience across interactions.

Qualifications

• Prior insurance agency service experience preferred.
• Strong understanding of personal lines coverages (Auto/Home/Umbrella).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Attention to detail with multitasking ability.
• Independent decision making using agency guidelines and best practices.
• Able to recommend coverage improvements and discuss with clients.
• Strong follow-through and time management.

Responsibilities

• Manage and service an assigned book of business with accuracy and responsiveness.
• Handle policy changes, coverage questions, renewals, billing, and reviews.
• Review accounts for gaps and recommend improvements to protection.
• Cross-sell and upsell where beneficial to the client (umbrella, renters, etc.).
• Educate clients on options clearly and confidently.
• Maintain documentation and logs in the agency system.
• Coordinate with carriers and underwriting on endorsements, renewals and exceptions.
• Resolve service issues and ensure completion.
• Support retention strategies and reduce preventable cancellations.

Highstreet Insurance and Financial Services is hiring a Client Manager within our Raleigh and Chapel Hill locations to provide high-level service and long-term account support for our personal lines clients. This role is 90% retention-focused, with expectations for strategic cross-selling and upselling when appropriate.

The Client Manager is responsible for managing an assigned book of business, making smart coverage recommendations, identifying opportunities to strengthen accounts, and ensuring clients receive a consistent, professional experience.

Salary Range: $45,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year

Requirements

Prior insurance agency service experience strongly preferred

Strong understanding of personal lines coverages (Auto/Home/Umbrella)

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

High attention to detail and comfort managing multiple moving parts daily

Ability to make sound, independent decisions using agency guidelines and best practices

Comfortable recommending coverage improvements and having client-facing conversations

Strong follow-through, time management, and ownership mindset

Active P&C license is required. No exceptions.
