Willis Towers Watson is seeking a Client Manager to handle a mix of internal partnership, delivery activities, and client-facing work in Commercial Property and Casualty. This fully remote role supports a nationwide client base with Eastern Time business hours and exposure to renewal, underwriting, and fee agreements. Strong communication, analytical, and process skills are required; P&C knowledge is essential.

Overview

This Client Manager role is responsible for a blend of internal partnership & delivery activities and client facing functions, utilizing the incumbent’s professional skills in Commercial Property and Casualty Insurance. These can include day-to-day service activities such as client inquiries and requests, endorsement processing and other client deliverables, as necessary. The Client Manager also has responsibility for maintaining client relationships and retention, while also ensuringclient profitability on a personally assigned book of business, within the assigned team.

Location and Work Hours: Thisis a fully remoteposition open to candidates residing anywherein the United States.Standard workinghoursfollow Eastern Time.

The Role

  • Manage and retain lower mid-market accounts based on revenue, industry, coverage needs, and other key business factors.

  • Maintain awareness of market trends, carrier updates, and industry changes to anticipate and respond to evolving client needs.

  • Review and interpret client contracts to ensure appropriate insurance coverage is in place to meet vendor and business partner requirements.

  • Schedule and lead internal and external strategy meetings, while documenting and communicating outcomes, decisions, and next steps.

  • Review, finalize, and deliver current and expiring exposure information to support renewal and placement activities.

  • Collaborate with internal teams, external partners, carriers, and clients to gather updated exposures and underwriting information.

  • Obtain updated client exposure documentation and perform coverage needs and gap analysis to ensure appropriate insurance solutions are applied.

  • Manage accurate billing implementation based on client instructions, carrier requirements, and internal procedures.

  • Design, prepare, negotiate, and deliver client fee and compensation agreements as needed.

  • Oversee process delivery to ensure legal, compliance, and documentation requirements are met.

  • Complete client proposals, renewal presentations, summaries, and other key client deliverables.

  • Lead and coordinate insurance due diligence activities related to mergers, acquisitions, and other corporate transactions, including review of target company insurance programs, identification of coverage gaps and exposures, and integration planning.

  • Partner with clients, brokers, carriers, legal teams, and transaction stakeholders to evaluate insurance implications of acquisitions and recommend appropriate risk management solutions.

  • Apply experience and subject matter expertise to support ongoing process improvement and operational efficiency.

  • Partner closely with peers and resources across domestic and international service centers to deliver consistent and high-quality client service.

  • Perform acquisition-related responsibilities align well with supporting clients through M&A transactions and insurance due diligence activities.

Qualifications

The Requirements

  • 3-5 years of Property & Casualty insurance experience in a role that is client-facing or carrier facing, M&A experienced is preferred but not required
  • College degree or equivalent work experience required
  • Property & Casualty insurance knowledge/experience required
  • Demonstrate strong problem-solving capability
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to include phone conversation and email communication
  • Demonstrated analytical ability, strong decision-making skills, and conflict resolution
  • Demonstrated problem solving abilities, including critical thinking, research, quantitative skills, and creativity
  • Solid process orientation skills
  • Technology acumen to work within various internal agency management systems (Epic, Service Hub, Broking Platform, etc.)
  • Ability to work independently, yet actively and appropriately engage the services provided by “extended team members” across the Shared Service Centers and Teams
  • Strong time management and organization skills
  • Solid working knowledge of computer software packages including MS Word and MS Excel (exposure to Excel formulas and Pivot table creation/manipulation a plus)
  • Must successfully maintain required licensing by completing various Continuing Education activities as needed. Must be able to show valid confirmation of current status of P&C Producers License
  • Insurance industry designations preferred but not required (CPCU, ARM, CIC, CRM)

Compensation and Benefits

Base salary range and benefits information for this position are being included in accordance with requirements of various state/local pay transparency legislation. Please note that salaries may vary for different individuals in the same role based on several factors, including but not limited to location of the role, individual competencies, education/professional certifications, qualifications/experience, performance in the role and potential for revenue generation (Producer roles only).

Compensation

The base salary compensation range being offered for this role is $86,000 - $100,000 USD.

This role is also eligible for an annual short term incentive bonus.
