Job summary

Highstreet Insurance and Financial Services seeks an Account Manager/CSR to serve a growing Michigan book of mid-market commercial clients. You’ll retain clients, share insurance expertise, and present proposals tailored to industries like Construction, Manufacturing, and automotive.

You’ll build win-win relationships with underwriters, manage day-to-day workflows, and verify certificates, endorsements, and audits.

Qualifications

• Licensed as a Property and Casualty insurance agent.
• Experienced in Commercial insurance.
• Motivated by getting things done and checking off your To-Do list.
• Great at helping customers in a timely manner.
• Comfortable with computers and software, Applied Epic is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Retain current clients.
• Share technical expertise about insurance - products, coverages, client needs, forms, and proposals.
• Complete day-to-day Commercial Lines Workflows - binding policies, certificates of insurance, endorsements and audits, renewal marketing.
• Present additional coverages based on client needs.
• Prepare accurate proposals and summaries of insurance.

As a Client Manager on our Commercial Insurance team, you will serve an existing book of middle market commercial clients from a variety of industries. Major categories include Construction, Manufacturing, Automotive, and other service-based businesses. If you know you can be their trusted insurance specialist and enjoy solving the complex situations they face.

Compensation and Benefits for this role include…

• Annual salary based on experience plus potential for quarterly bonuses based on agency profitability

To be successful in this position, you’ll need to be:

• Licensed as a Property and Casualty insurance agent
• Experienced in Commercial insurance (minimum of 3 years preferred, don't hesitate to apply if you have 5, 10, or even 20+ years)
• Motivated by getting things done and checking off your To-Do list
• Great at helping customers in a timely manner
• Comfortable with computers and software, knowing Applied Epic is a BIG plus, but not required
