Job Description

The Client Manager will provide advanced technical support to Client Executive Service and perform Client Administrator duties for existing clients, collaborating with team members. Occasionally, the Client Manager may act as a Client Executive Service for specific accounts, preparing for and delivering renewal and new business presentations.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
  1. Perform all duties of a Client Administrator at an above-average level while assisting Client Executives in analyzing coverages and claims data for new and renewal business.
  2. Proactively prepare renewal specifications and draft proposals.
  3. Manage the marketing of renewal business as directed by the Client Executive.
  4. Prepare experience modification projections using Intellicomp or other software.
  5. Review accuracy of experience modification calculations from state rating agencies/bureaus.
  6. Review policy checking notes, correct policies as needed, and ensure timely delivery to clients via email, in person, or online portal. Assist with Stewardship Reports.
  7. Review loss run and claim status reports.
  8. Prepare Loss Summaries and Large Loss Reports.
  9. Participate in client visits with Client Executives, including renewal and new business presentations.
  10. Assist with collection of Accounts Receivables.
  11. Participate in E&O Audits.
  12. Establish and maintain positive working relationships with colleagues and clients.
Education and/or Experience
  1. Bachelor’s degree plus 2-3 years of world-class client service experience or 3+ years of industry experience with increasing responsibilities related to the duties, including 2-3 years of client service experience.
  2. Valid unrestricted California Fire & Casualty Solicitors license.
  3. Advanced insurance designations preferred, with a willingness to pursue ongoing education and professional development.
  4. Exceeds expectations if currently employed at Marsh & McLennan Agency.
  5. Strong understanding of insurance terminology, brokerage functions, and lines of commercial insurance.
  6. Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  7. Ability to prioritize, set and achieve goals, solve problems logically, and communicate clearly in writing and orally.
Work Environment & Physical Demands
  1. Prolonged computer use and office equipment operation.
  2. Work performed in a typical office environment.
  3. Occasional travel to client sites, including overnight stays.
  4. No direct health or safety threats posed to others.

The salary range is $63,100 to $117,500, based on experience, skills, location, and other factors. The role may include performance incentives and a comprehensive benefits package including health, tuition assistance, 401K, and employee assistance programs.
