Job summary

Animal Rescue League of Boston (ARL) is seeking a Client Liaison for Boston Veterinary Care, a temporary, part-time position in Boston, MA.

The role supports check-in/check-out, client inquiries by phone, email, and in person, and contributes to a caring, team-based environment. Shifts are Mondays, Thursdays, and Fridays, 8:30am–5:00pm, for an estimated 8–12 weeks. Base pay starts at $21/hour.

ARL is committed to animal welfare and professional development through in-house CE and ongoing training.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to manage check-in/check-out processes.
• Comfort with animal welfare environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service as clients check in/out.
• Respond to inquiries in person, by phone, and via email.
• Share ideas to improve care and service.

This is a temporary position that we anticipate will last 8 to 12 weeks. The schedule is part-time, with shifts on Mondays, Thursdays, and Fridays, from 8:30am to 5:00pm.

Who we are:

Boston Veterinary Care (BVC) is a busy small animal veterinary practice located in Boston’s beautiful and historic South End. We see appointments and perform a wide variety of surgeries, with all profits from the hospital benefiting the shelter pets of the Animal Rescue League. We are a close-knit team practicing high-quality medicine every day.

What we offer:

• Base hourly rate starting at $21/hour
• Monthly team meetings to encourage team communication and program improvement
• Structured in house CE, lunch and learns, and on-going training
• Effective communication and timely feedback/check ins with management along with goal setting
