Job summary

Yampaglia Law is seeking a professional Intake Specialist to be the first point of contact for prospective clients. You will manage inbound inquiries, conduct initial screenings, gather case information, and schedule consultations to support client onboarding and matter evaluation.

The role requires 1–3 years in customer service or legal intake, strong communication, and the ability to maintain confidentiality. Competitive hourly pay and benefits are offered with a collaborative team environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Minimum 1–3 years of experience in customer service, client intake, legal support, or related field.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and client management software.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times.

Responsibilities

• Answer and manage incoming phone calls, emails, website inquiries, and referral requests.
• Conduct detailed intake interviews to gather client and case information.
• Assess prospective matters based on firm guidelines and criteria.
• Schedule consultations between prospective clients and attorneys.
• Enter and maintain client information in the case management system.
• Follow up with prospective clients regarding required documentation and case status.
• Maintain confidentiality of client information and firm records.
• Coordinate with attorneys, paralegals, and staff to onboard clients smoothly.
• Monitor intake performance metrics and assist with reporting requirements.
• Deliver exceptional customer service with empathy and professionalism.
