Job summary

Lockton is seeking a Client Advocate to work with a Producer to grow people solutions business. The role supports new business activities, manages daily operations, and drives client retention for the West Series. Tenured experience with global benefits clients and PE sector exposure is required.

Ideal candidates will have strong analytical, communication, and relationship-building skills, and be willing to travel as needed to support revenue growth and high-level client engagements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and/or equivalent B2B sales experience.
• Life & Health insurance license required.
• Minimum of 5 years' experience developing relationships with C-Suite in a consultative sales environment.
• Proven success selling complex insurance solutions to sophisticated business clients, especially in PE and global benefits.
• Strong written and verbal communication, client-facing skills, and analytical ability.

Responsibilities

• Research and identify target markets; initiate contact and drive sales.
• Acquire new business revenue across target regions and industry verticals.
• Manage the sales pipeline through outreach, prospect research, cold calling, and networking.
• Prepare for prospect meetings with data and presentations; manage RFP responses.
• Develop marketing content and attend industry conferences to boost branding.
• Maintain client relationships by attending meetings with the Producer and handling renewal processes.
• Collaborate to design business plans, forecast revenue, and monitor budgets.
• Stay current on insurance products and industry trends; ensure compliance with Lockton policies.
