Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED and at least one year experience in customer service, retail sales and service position with cash handling, or a similar role.
• Strong written and verbal communication and problem solving.
• Ability to conduct financial needs assessments and cross-sell products.
• Proficient with computers and banking software.

Responsibilities

• Grow existing relationships and acquire new customers through sales execution, lead management, and proactive cross selling.
• Deliver exceptional customer service aligned with the bank's mission in a friendly, professional, solution oriented manner.
• Educate customers about bank products and services and cross-sell to meet financial needs.
• Open new accounts (checking, savings, CDs, IRAs) and discuss/sell loan products.
• Promote online and mobile banking capabilities.
• Meet service quality standards and participate in the sales referral process and coaching of branch staff.
• Perform transactions efficiently, balance cash drawer, and use teller equipment.
• Serve as Vault Teller and manage currency/coin orders and distribution.
• Participate in community events and CRA initiatives.
• Report significant issues to management and maintain regulatory compliance.
• Adhere to the bank's code of conduct and policies.
