Job summary

Cox Automotive Inc. is seeking a customer-focused professional to serve as the primary contact for resolving client issues across a variety of account scopes. You will coordinate vehicle reconditioning, communicate with auction teams, and build strong client relationships to improve vehicle value.

The role requires knowledge of vehicle inspection processes, the ability to upsell Cox products when appropriate, and strict adherence to safety and policy guidelines. Local travel may be required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED with 3 years in a related field, or equivalent combination.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Must have physical ability and mental acuity to perform duties within required timeframes.
• Preferred: self-starter, able to multi-task, vehicle reconditioning knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Be the primary point of contact for resolving client issues for accounts of varying scope.
• Provide exceptional customer service addressing inquiries related to vehicle condition and discrepancies.
• Coordinate sale vehicle run processes and communicate with auction departments for inventory movement and reconditioning timing.
• Build relationships with clients, prepare reconditioning estimates, approve services, and conduct condition reports and imaging audits.
• Demonstrate knowledge of condition report data and vehicle inspection processes to identify prior repairs or paint work.
• Educate clients on auction processes and upsell Cox Automotive products as appropriate.
• Help coordinate redemptions, ensure proper documentation, and maintain compliance with PII policies.
• Adhere to Cox standards for reconditioning quality and accuracy per SLAs.
• Follow NAAA guidelines for vehicle announcements and branding placement.
• Proficient with MS Office and internal platforms, and participate in safety activities.

Education

High School Diploma/GED and 3 years' related experience or equivalent combination

Any level of degree/certification beyond HS in related discipline; OR 5 years' related experience
