Job summary

NFI is seeking a Transportation Management Account Manager to oversee operational execution across assigned client accounts, ensuring seamless delivery at client sites and supporting ongoing business growth. You will manage people, processes, and customer satisfaction, coordinating with internal teams to optimize routes and transportation solutions.

The role requires 3–5 years in transportation, strong communication, and leadership skills, with the ability to travel as needed.

Qualifications

• BA or BS degree required.
• 3–5 years transportation-related industry experience with demonstrated acumen.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make decisions.
• Strong attention to detail with excellent follow-up skills.
• High level of business acumen and leadership qualities.
• Ability to meet/exceed time-sensitive deadlines.
• Ability to multitask.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Daily operational point-of-contact for client.
• Provides guidance and training to Transportation Management operations and customer on program systems and processes.
• Initiate continuous improvement strategies that improve internal and external operations.
• Collaborate with Transportation Management Director of Operations to create and manage SOP documentation.
• Identify opportunities for continuous process improvement that adds value for clients.
• Conduct quarterly business reviews (QBR) with your customer using multiple presentation methods.
• Must gain familiarity with NFI departments such as Carrier Relations, Freight Audit/Payment, and Invoicing.
