Job summary

KeyBank in Syracuse, NY is seeking a friendly Teller to deliver in-branch service and handle daily account transactions. You will greet clients, process deposits and withdrawals, balance cash, and resolve servicing issues while referring complex needs to a Banker.

This role requires a high school diploma, prior client service experience, and cash-handling skills. Notary license is a plus. The position is branch-based with Saturday shifts and strict compliance with banking policies.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent business experience.
• Experience in a client service role is required.
• Experience with cash handling is required.
• General understanding of Windows-based PC applications and calculators is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent in-person client service by welcoming clients and assisting with account transactions.
• Balance cash drawer within guidelines and ensure accurate transactions.
• Identify and resolve client servicing issues and escalate when needed.
• Listen for financial wellness opportunities and transition clients to a Banker when appropriate.
• Promote banking products and services to meet clients' financial goals.
• Attend in-person morning huddles and end-of-day debriefs.
• Comply with all policies, security procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Work Saturdays as directed by management.
