Columbia Bank seeks a Teller to be the first point of contact for clients at our Sandpoint branch. You will perform teller transactions with accuracy and confidentiality, balancing cash and assisting with product referrals to meet client needs.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of banking or customer service experience preferred.
• Bilingual preferred.
• Ability to learn and comply with all Bank policies, procedures, and systems.
• Demonstrates exceptional attention to detail and accuracy with numbers and instructions.
• Able to build relationships with clients and bank associates.

Responsibilities

• Perform teller transactions and cash handling accurately and confidentially (deposits, withdrawals, transfers, check cashing, etc.).
• Balance cash drawer and balance ATM as needed.
• Mitigate risk by safekeeping money in cash drawer and prompt accounting or transfer of funds.
• Interact with clients to identify needs and offer banking products/services.
• Support branch goals by referring basic products to appropriate partners.
• Maintain and provide accurate documentation and compliance with procedures.
