Responsibilities include handling residential and commercial real estate lending tasks and ensuring timely closings. Requirements include 3+ years in residential underwriting, strong communication, and advanced Excel skills.

Qualifications

• Strong written and verbal communication skills with high attention to detail.
• Proficient use of MS Excel with pivot tables, macros, formulas and application navigation.

Responsibilities

• Analyze client's financials to determine loan eligibility and qualification.
• Monitor active pipeline to ensure loan workflow is efficient and meeting closing deadlines.
• Manage end-to-end loan process with internal/external partners from the time the loan is live through closing.
• For residential lending: set up the loan and borrower terms in Empower, lock the rate, order appraisals and title, prepare initial loan estimate and underwriting conditions.
• For CRE/Multifamily lending: complete underwriting/analysis of the property and sponsors and lead conversations to determine next steps.
