Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in personal lines insurance, agency, or a related field.
• State license (Property & Casualty) required or must be obtained within a specified period.
• Experience with personal lines policies and customer service.

Responsibilities

• Manage an assigned book of personal lines policies (auto, homeowners, renters).
• Provide day-to-day client service and resolve inquiries in a friendly, solutions-oriented way.
• Process policy changes, endorsements, renewals, and cancellations accurately.
• Educate clients on coverage options and risk management best practices.
• Partner with carriers to obtain quotes, negotiate terms, and ensure favorable outcomes.
• Review policy documents for accuracy before delivering them to clients.
• Maintain accurate records in the agency management system.
• Identify opportunities for account rounding and cross-selling additional products.
• Stay up-to-date on industry trends, carrier guidelines, and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with producers, underwriters and team members to ensure satisfaction.
