UMB Financial Corporation is seeking a Personal Banker to build and deepen client relationships by using product knowledge to identify needs and offer suitable financial solutions. The role emphasizes cross-selling, workplace banking outreach, and strong customer service within a sales-driven environment.

You will receive extensive product training and mentorship, learning the sales process and how to deliver meaningful financial recommendations to customers.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or equivalent.
• One year of experience in a retail environment engaging with customers and making product recommendations that lead to sales or relevant experience.
• Ability to obtain NMLS registration within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Asking personalized questions to convert transactions and service requests into cross-sell conversations that deepen client relationships.
• Creating sales opportunities by calling leads, visiting businesses to offer workplace banking, and developing referral networks.
• Achieving daily key performance metrics while balancing competing priorities.
• Learning processes like transactions, cash drawer management, and bank documentation in line with industry standards.
• Other job duties as assigned.
