Job summary

Shared Services Home Health Division of EHM Senior Solutions is seeking an Intake and Scheduling Coordinator in Saline, MI to manage patient intake, verify information, and schedule to ensure timely service delivery. The role requires strong organization, excellent communication, confidentiality, and 2+ years in healthcare scheduling.

Office-based, with half-time hours Mon, Thu, Fri 8:00–4:30, rotating weekends/holidays; EHR experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate's degree in healthcare administration or related field preferred.
• Experience in healthcare intake or scheduling is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the first point of contact for clients, providing professional and courteous service.
• Conduct intake assessments to gather necessary information from clients and determine their needs.
• Schedule appointments and coordinate with staff to ensure timely service delivery.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of client interactions and appointments.
• Communicate effectively with clients, caregivers, and healthcare professionals to facilitate smooth service operations.
• Handle inquiries and resolve scheduling conflicts or issues promptly.
• Assist in the development and implementation of scheduling procedures and policies to improve efficiency.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure comprehensive client care and service delivery.
• Provide administrative support as needed to ensure the smooth operation of the intake and scheduling processes.
