Job summary

Jobtailor in Illinois is seeking a capable Financial Services Advisor Support to deliver financial advice, manage client relationships, and handle client transactions by phone. You will support advisors, prepare reports, and identify sales opportunities while maintaining compliance with industry policies.

The role requires active securities licenses, prior trading or service center experience, and strong communication skills. A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent working experience.
• Series 7, Series 63/65, or 66 License required.
• 1+ years of direct client experience in financial services.
• Life and Health License required.
• Excellent telephone service and relationship management skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and web-based applications.
• Ability to assist customers in call center environment with data lookup.
• Excellent PC and data input skills.
• Prior financial trading experience and tele-sales experience.
• Excellent communication skills and strong service ethic.
• Previous experience as a financial advisor.
• Prior LPL trading or related service call center experience; or similar.

Responsibilities

• Deliver financial advice and conduct client reviews by phone via inbound/outbound calls.
• Handle and execute client transactions and general service requests.
• Prepare client reports and proposals as required.
• Support other departments and advisors in program understanding.
• Participate in customer service and training to stay current with policies.
• Provide regular feedback to Management to improve advisor experience and efficiency.
• Communicate policies and procedures in operations/finance.
• Identify new sales and asset retention opportunities.
• Exercise excellent business judgment.
• Research and resolve advisor and client issues.
