Job summary

Regions Bank in Starkville, MS is seeking an experienced Commercial Relationship Specialist to support Relationship Managers in Commercial Banking. The role covers AG, GIB, SBA, and Franchise Lending segments, handling admin tasks, reporting, and workflow management.

The candidate will manage credit applications, loan closings, post-closing items, and onboarding of new clients, working with Treasury Management and data systems to ensure accurate pipelines and records.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; or a high school diploma/GED with two years of general banking experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to manage client data across systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative support to Relationship Managers within Commercial Banking.
• Serve as primary contact for servicing requests from Commercial Banking clients.
• Attend weekly RM meetings to review renewals, pipeline items and servicing tasks.
• Generate reports such as 360, Weekly Sales, OneView Pipeline, Maturities, Past-Due and exceptions.
• Facilitate credit application workflow: collect financials, submit facility applications, manage loan workflow to closing.
• Coordinate post-closing tasks, tickler requirements, and exception citations.
• Manage loan maturity pipeline and ensure timely renewals and closings.
• Act as liaison between Credit Products and Commercial Team; collect due-diligence from clients.
• Support sales activities: marketing requests, client/prospect presentations, and prospect files.
• Open new deposit products and collaborate with Treasury Management to onboard clients.
• Maintain data integrity across source systems and update OneView records and COI data.
• Manage Relationship Grouping Application (RGA) data for accurate 360 reporting.
• Provide support to GIB, SBA, and AG segments; handle miscellaneous duties.
