Job summary

United Bank in Dunbar, WV seeks a Sales Associate to perform daily branch and customer service duties, process transactions accurately, promote business by delivering quality service, and handle routine customer inquiries while actively contributing to a collaborative team environment.

You will support branch goals, maintain cash drawer accuracy, follow security and compliance procedures, communicate our products and services to customers, and help open or close the branch as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Successful completion of the Bank’s in-house Sales Associate Training Program.
• Previous customer service experience is highly desired.
• Excellent communication skills; Spanish or another language a plus.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) required.

Responsibilities

• Operate with accuracy and efficiency using core banking systems and cash drawer.
• Balance cash daily and follow security procedures.
• Adhere to cash differences/controllable losses policy.
• Identify customers and verify documentation for transactions.
• Comply with all policies and security procedures.
• Prepare currency transaction reports and logs per BSA regulations.
• Contribute to branch scorecard goals through self-performance and action plans.
• Deliver excellent customer service and build positive relationships.
