Job summary

JPMorganChase in New York is seeking a Relationship Banker to deliver welcoming service and financial guidance to clients using our latest banking solutions in a branch setting.

You will build and manage client relationships, identify financial needs, and connect customers with the right products and experts, while ensuring compliance with all policies and regulations. Strong communication and sales discipline are essential, with occasional weekend availability.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of sales experience in retail banking or financial services.
• Ability to create memorable experiences for our clients.
• Excellent communication in person and over the phone.
• Resolve client issues with attention to detail and empathy.
• Ability to work branch hours including weekends and some evenings.
• SIE exam, FINRA Series 6, state registrations, and Life licenses required within 180 days.

Responsibilities

• Put clients first and exceed their expectations - deliver attentive and friendly service, creating a welcoming environment.
• Manage assigned clients and proactively meet with them, both in person and over the phone, to build lasting relationships, understand financial needs, and tailor product and service recommendations.
• Engage in clear, polite, consultative communication to understand and help clients, building trust – ask questions and listen to understand, anticipate their needs.
• Educate and connect clients to technology solutions such as leveraging the Chase Mobile App, Chase.com, and ATMs to help them with their banking needs whenever, wherever, and however they want.
• Learn products, services, and procedures quickly and accurately to effectively consult with clients about banking solutions, as well as collaborate with and connect them to our team of experts to help with specialized financial needs.
• Adhere to policies, procedures, and regulatory banking requirements.
