Job summary

Santander is seeking a Sales and Service Banker in the United States to build strong customer relationships and provide tailored banking solutions. The role focuses on serving customers with transactional, servicing, and product needs while meeting branch sales targets.

You will work with teammates to deliver personalized service, educate customers on digital tools, and ensure risk and compliance standards are followed. This position requires weekend/evening hours and cash handling experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience preferred.
• 12+ months experience selling products and/or services.
• 6+ months experience in Retail Banking sales or related role with proven success.
• 6+ months Santander experience related to essential functions and responsibilities.
• 6+ months customer service in a high-volume environment.
• 6+ months cash handling experience.
• Established relationship-building skills focused on customer experience and loyalty.
• Excellent customer service skills and a passion for helping others.
• Ability to learn and apply sales techniques to meet customer needs.
• Experience in cross-selling products and services.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Excellent communication, consultative and influence skills.
• Proficient in using digital tools and technology.
• Ability to follow directions, policies, and procedures.
