Job summary

Truist is hiring for a Regular teller role in Fayetteville, NC. You will provide timely and accurate client transactions, deliver a distinct client experience, and learn to identify financial needs while maintaining records and controls.

You will educate clients on digital banking, support outbound outreach, and participate in Integrated Relationship Management (IRM) initiatives, working with branch teams to offer appropriate solutions and ensure compliance with policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent education required.
• Two years teller or cash handling or client service experience.
• Six months of client relationship building or sales experience.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and desire to engage clients.
• Ability to master PC keyboard and software for branch automation.
• Ability to multi-task under time constraints.
• Proficiency in basic computer applications, including Microsoft Office.
• Must be able to travel for temporary staffing needs; weekends/extended hours may be required.

Responsibilities

• Provide a distinctive client experience through courteous conversation and accurate transactions.
• Educate clients on digital banking and self-service options.
• Support sales via outbound calls and referrals to branch team members.
• Understand IRM to deliver Truist solutions for client needs.
• Participate in Retail Leadership routines and training sessions.
• Maintain knowledge of policies, procedures, and risk controls for compliance.
• Serve as secondary contact for new accounts and problem resolution; handle branch workload as needed.
