Job summary

San Diego County Credit Union is seeking a Customer Service/ Teller to accurately transact member accounts and promote Credit Union products while maintaining high service standards. This role emphasizes daily transactions and delivering friendly, professional service to members.

Responsibilities include balancing cash, assisting with inquiries, referring products to meet members' needs, and participating in AML/BSA training.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.
1 year of customer service experience.
Willingness to train and learn to identify members’ needs to effectively offer or refer credit union products and services.
Cash handling experience preferred.
Must possess effective human relations and communication skills.
Professional appearance and demeanor.

Responsibilities

Process routine member account transactions including deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, transfers, and wires.
Balance cash drawer daily and handle direct deposit forms and daily mail.
Identify and offer products and services to members to meet financial needs and/or refer to an appropriate representative or partner; participate in campaigns and meetings; meet performance goals.
Record and track all member interactions, referrals and sales with integrity and in accordance with policy.
Answer basic member inquiries pertaining to their account.
Conduct routine research on member accounts as necessary.
Assist members by accepting and/or completing applicable forms.
Participate in AML/BSA compliance training and adhere to policy and CTR rules.
