Qualifications

• Experience as an Account Manager, preferably in commercial insurance.
• Active insurance license(s) per state regulations, or ability to obtain one.
• Strong knowledge of commercial insurance products, coverage options, and underwriting practices.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary contact for commercial insurance clients and address inquiries.
• Manage policy renewals, endorsements, certificates, and changes.
• Build and maintain relationships with clients, carriers, and internal teams.
• Assess client needs and propose tailored insurance solutions.
• Negotiate terms, coverage, and pricing with underwriters to meet client requirements.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and accurate client records.
• Educate clients on policy details and updates to optimize coverage.
• Support sales in onboarding new clients and post-sale account support.
• Monitor market trends to provide competitive insurance solutions.
