Job summary

KeyBank in Attica, NY seeks a Personal Banker to engage clients, uncover needs, and provide guidance for financial wellness, both in person and by proactive calling. You will attract new clients and deepen relationships based on clients' goals, while delivering a trusted, client-first experience.

As part of the branch team, you will work with partners, ensure compliant operations, and support teller duties when needed. The role emphasizes community involvement and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience in developing current and new customer relationships, achieving sales goals, and building referral sources.
• Understanding of consumer credit - including loan to value, debt to income and credit reports.
• Foundational knowledge of sales and service techniques with clients, including tele-consulting, outside calling, prospecting, and networking.
• Comfortable interacting with small business clients, overcoming objection, and asking fact-finding questions to be helpful.
• Demonstrated experience with influencing business partners and leveraging centers of influence.

Responsibilities

• Listen for clues for financial wellness opportunities during in-person and over the phone client conversations and provide effective and customized financial wellness recommendations to clients.
• Consistently attains individual activity, behavior, and outcome goals and expectations.
• Opening personal and business accounts and related deposit products.
• Developing strong partnerships with branch teammates and line of business partners to attract new clients and deepen existing relationships.

Education

High School Diploma, GED or equivalent business experience

Bachelor's Degree (preferred)
