Job summary

Horizon Media in New York is seeking a Manager, Client Finance to act as the relationship and account manager for the client financial lifecycle. This hands-on role combines analysis, project management, and client-facing activities to deliver accurate financials.

You will maintain client budgets, manage the order-to-cash cycle, and serve as the primary finance contact for assigned clients, coordinating with internal teams to ensure timely, accurate financial reporting.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of client-facing experience in the media industry.
• Strong financial acumen and ability to manage budgets.
• Proficiency with Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.
• Ability to communicate effectively with clients and internal teams.
• Experience with SBMS/MediaOcean OX is a plus.
• BS/BA degree.

Responsibilities

• 35%: Manage client budgets and track budgets in budgets/variance analyses.
• 20%: Oversee the Order-to-Cash cycle with timing, invoicing, and reconciliations.
• 20%: Serve as primary finance contact for clients; lead monthly status calls.
• 20%: Support internal client management and cross-functional collaboration.
• 5%: Identify areas for process improvements and efficiency gains.
