Job summary

Horizon Media is seeking a Director, Client Finance & Operations in New York to lead the client finance lifecycle, including billing, reconciliation, receivables and payables across multiple client portfolios.

The role combines hands-on financial leadership with team management, process improvements, and internal/client-facing collaboration. It reports to the Director, Client Finance & Operations and commands a salary range aligned with NY market norms.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7+ years of client finance experience, ideally in media.
• 3+ years in a leadership role directing teams.
• Experience with media billing and operations preferred.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the order-to-cash cycle and fiduciary accountability.
• Review KPIs and client budgets; ensure timely deliverables.
• Lead and mentor Managers and Senior Managers; support career development.
• Prepare for monthly client finance status calls and leadership reviews.
• Identify and implement process improvements across the team.
